New tire and lube shop opens at Ellsworth trucking firm

Working on cars was a favorite activity for Jeff Leonard when he was in high school.
“I had a ’73 Monte Carlo,” Leonard said Wednesday about one of the best vehicles he owned as a youth.
Although the Ellsworth native’s career path has taken him in a couple different directions since then, auto mechanics has been part of much of it. His latest venture is not only related, but under his ownership—Harold’s Tire and Lube.
